The marijuana legalization movement is a big one, and with new potential uses being explored every day, they may soon succeed. This recent reefer renaissance has inspired more than just researchers, though.

People the world over are finding new ways to consume marijuana. Most of these involve new forms of edibles and new weed recipes. Part of this may be owing to the popularity of CBD, especially in edible form.

Soon enough, pot brownies may just be a staple of your grandma’s generation. We’ll talk about some of the current recipes that may give brownies a run for their money in the paragraphs below.

1. Ice Cream

This dessert has a lot going for it. In addition to having marijuana in it, this ice cream is also easily made and healthier than other kinds of ice cream.

A lot of this is because there are only 5 ingredients: Unsweetened almond milk, whey chocolate protein powder, honey, and extra-virgin olive oil with Cannabis in it. We’ll talk more about oils with cannabis in them later.

You could also use milk made with cannabis. Again, this will be talked about more later on.

Keep in mind that this is a variation. The ice cream could be any flavor and there are many more ice cream weed recipes out there.

You can even take the marijuana out of the recipe if you would rather have regular ice cream.

2. Gummies

Believe it or not, marijuana edibles have been around since ancient times, and candy edibles have been around since the 1800s, at least. You may have heard of cannabis gummies before. They’re a popular way for patients to take medical marijuana.

These days, they’ve gotten a lot more mainstream, and are often made for recreational purposes. The recipes for these gummies can vary depending on whether you want to make the gummies from scratch or just use jello and shape it into gummies.

In some cases, they may take a few hours to make.

3. Cooking Oil

People have come up with a few different types of oils to make with cannabis, including vinaigrette salad dressing. With so many options to choose from, we decided to go with cooking oil.

The reasons were simple–it’s easy to make, and it’s versatile. How many different recipes can you think of that require some form of cooking oil?

To make this oil, you first have to cook your cannabis in the oven. Then, you mix it with regular cooking oil and put it through a strainer. This should give you a cooking oil with a good hint of cannabis mixed in.

4. Butter

Cannabis butter is a great way to add some extra fun to any baked good you want. The recipe takes over three-and-a-half hours to make, though all but about ten minutes is spent cooking.

To make cannabis butter, you’ll need water, 4 sticks of butter, cannabis buds, a mixing bowl and spoon, coffee filters, a baking sheet, a saucepan, a knife, a cheesecloth, and a storage container.

While it doesn’t take long to make, it can last quite a while, up to a year if stored properly.

5. Milk

Who first go the idea of putting cannabis into milk, we may never know. Nevertheless, it’s here and it’s become somewhat popular.

Like many of the other entries on this list, milk is a basic cooking ingredient, so there’s no shortage of things you can make with it. Adding to the appeal is the fact that this recipe is the definition of easy, calling only for milk, marijuana, a grinder, and a baking sheet.

If you feel like cannabis ice cream, but want to make it the old fashioned way, this is the milk for you.

6. Macaroni and Cheese

If you’re looking for ways to spice up your mac n cheese recipe, look no further. Like most of the recipes on this list, it’s similar to any other mac n cheese recipe. The difference is that the cheese is made with cannabis butter.

The great thing about macaroni, and other, more complex recipes, is that there’s no one way to make it. You could make mac n cheese out of American cheese, or pepper jack or any other kind of cheese.

Truth be told, you don’t even have to put it with cheese. You could do macaroni in alfredo sauce and still use your cannabis butter.

7. Brownies

We talked about brownies before as being your grandma’s edible, but let’s face it, they’re a classic. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying a classic.

The only advice we can offer about pot brownies is to not eat too many of them. After all, it’s delicious chocolate brownies mixed with a substance known to increase appetite. It’s a good idea to be careful.

Whether you’re the type who likes to sit back and watch TV or spend your time online at a live casino, pot brownies go with almost everything, as long as it’s not illegal.
