Are You Fit for Methadone Treatment?
There are a lot of programs that substitute the drug you’re addicted to for one that is used as a way to avoid the physical pain of withdrawal. The downside is that these drugs, such as methadone, are often addictive as well.
The point of these programs is to reduce the harm that you go through and take one drug as a substitute for a more harmful one. If your goal is strict sobriety, these programs may not be for you.
